My Personal Statement
As far as I am concerned if a man can find two or more attractive, intelligent, jealous-free, charitable women willing to share their assets, his company and bed, and live together in a common cause or objective, then I say more power to them all. If a legal wife doesn’t mind if her husband keeps a mistress, I think that’s their business and not mine. But to induce women to believe God wants
them to become polygamists, to inculcate the notion that women must become plural wives or be damned, to use the Bible as persuasion, or otherwise imply that polygamy is a religious undertaking, is contrary to common sense, and the worst kind of cruel deception.
Whenever a man, institution or religion claims to be the exclusive mouthpiece of God, and purports to have the authority and power to take life and manipulate the salvation of mankind, then that man or religion invites scrutiny, and should be scrutinized.
There never has been, nor will there ever be, a religion, political Party, movement, credo or cause so righteous that it is above scrutiny.
